Affiliate Basics

I don’t remember who said it, but the truism goes “when the student is ready, the teacher will appear”.  That was brought home to my consciousness yet again this morning. 

I had posted in my favorite forum at Marketing Beginners to a friend whose help has been invaluable to this tech-challenged blogger noting that I had read his comments, but saw no link to his site although I allow links.  He then posted back teaching me that Wordpress automatically turns the name the commenter signs when he comments into a link.  Am I the only one or are there others out there who didn’t know that?

Anyway, I wanted to be sure that people who took the time to read my content and comment on it got the link to their site which they deserve for their effort.  So, I visited my blog and clicked on Mark’s name.  Sure enough, I was taken to his site, a blog I didn’t even know he had.
